Recommended Reading – Goodnight Moon

Posted by Marcia On April 17th

We consider this one of the most perfect children’s bedtime books available…

Goodnight Moon, which is available on Amazon, is a short poem of goodnight wishes from a young rabbit, who’s preparing for (and attempting to delay) bed time.

The real fun is finding all of the items mentioned within the book’s pictures.

We highly recommend reading Goodnight Moon with your children, if you haven’t already. icon wink Recommended Reading Goodnight Moon

A little about me, Marcia Kimball

Posted by Marcia On April 9th

Hi!

One of my most fulfilling moments is when I’m able to help moms, dads, and families as they visit our store.

We have families from all over, Michigan, New York, Ohio to Germany, England, and many other states & countries!

I grew up in Winchester, Massachusetts, and as I child I spent my summers in New Hampshire.

A few years ago, my daughter and I wanted to get out of freezing New Hampshire when she had a school break.   We love the ocean and had heard about the beautiful beaches of Sanibel Island from friends.

We came down to Sanibel, and stayed at the Sanibel Inn – we both fell in love with the island right away!

Just after Hurricane Charley in August 2004 we ran Giggles in the space where C Turtles is now (well, half of it).

Recently, we moved into our current space, and after remodeling opened up a few months ago!   We feature the paintings of Leoma Lovegrove in the store, on the walls, and on the floor!

It’s really amazing – we get a lot of compliments. icon smile A little about me, Marcia Kimball
